The most memorable events are full experiences that bring all our senses to live.
In one of the most impressive wineries in our area, the birthplace of the Catalan Cava, in a spectacular modernist architectural ensemble, designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, we set up an event for a group of 600 Americans.
The aroma of the ancient barrels and the fermentation of the grapes filtered through each and every one of its walls and underground labyrinths.
The dinner was served in the Main Celler, a space of more than a thousand square meters, under a Catalan vault and divided into three arched archways that had been the ancient fermentation room for the musts of Codorniu.
On the sides of the great hall, hundreds of ancient barrels housed an endless number of small candles, creating a unique atmosphere.
We designed floral centrepieces on two levels to create a greater dynamism and we chose some flowers in dark tones to continue the harmony of the space. Lilac hydrangeas, garnet anthuriums, touches of fuchsia carnations and passion red roses, made up a floral symphony that dazzled all the guests.
The centrepieces in tall crystal glasses contrasted with the rustic tone of the space, and created a magical atmosphere that seemed to float in the air.
As a nod to the space, we placed bunches of garnet grapes that accompanied our flower centrepieces.
The setting of the entire event followed the same concept; flowers with character, intense colours and candles everywhere.
The organizers told us that the event was an absolute success and we are very proud to have been part of this accomplishment.
